Admissions Representative & High School Outreach Representative: Mt. Sierra College is seeking sales representatives to join the On Campus and High School Admissions teams. We are looking for high-energy, self-motivated individuals, who can learn quickly and achieve their goals. The accountabilities for the On Campus position are as follows:
- Respond to lead inquiries via phone, mail and email
- Conduct high volume of calls to prospective students
- Set appointments, conduct interviews and enroll students for the on campus/online programs
- Advise students and parents of requirements for admission
- Guide students through the entire admissions process
- Reports directly to the Director of Admissions
- Meet admissions goals
High School Outreach Representative Accountabilities:
- Receives leads from Director of Admissions
- Conduct high volume of calls to prospective students and their parents
- Sets appointments, conducts interviews and enrolls high school students for on campus programs only
- Responsible for enrolling for two starts a year
- Reports Directly to the Director of Admissions
- Meet admissions goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Sales/customer service experience(admissions experience preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Phone and customer service skills
- Effective multi-tasking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Online Course Developer: Mt Sierra College is seeking an Online Course Developer experienced with developing online courses for our Online Education programs. The Online Course Developer will work independently as well as collaboratively and on cross-functional teams that include other course developers, production artists, faculty, content experts, program chairs, copy-editor, proofreader, and online programs director.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with content experts, program chairs, and online programs director to develop curriculum guides.
- Collaborate with content experts, proofreaders, and production artists to develop online courses, writing and/or creating the visual and auditory components of lectures and lessons using design skills and tools as well as the development of multimedia-rich learning environments.
- Collaborate with production artists and other members of the online team on the design and development of instructional content, graphics and multimedia elements for delivery of online instructional content.
- Work independently or in a project team to complete assigned development projects from conception to launch.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years experience working with higher education supporting faculty to develop online courses
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and complete projects within stated deadlines
- Understanding of the eCollege Learning Management System a plus
- Developmental editing experience a plus
- Proficient with the PC
- Working knowledge of the MAC a plus
- Proficient in the following current software/programming:
- Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, HTML. (Working knowledge of other software a plus)
- Proficient in the following skills and competencies:
- Communication, Analog and Digital Organization, Research

Faculty Positions Available – Media Arts and Design: Mt. Sierra College Media Arts and Design Department in Monrovia (near Pasadena), California has immediate openings for part-time and full-time faculty, both on-line and on-campus. In addition to Media Arts & Design programs, Mt. Sierra College also offers degree programs in Gaming, Technology, and Business.
We are seeking faculty who have professional and/or teaching experience in the following areas:
- Digital imaging
- Digital illustration
- Digital Video
- Digital layout and typographic programs
- 3D modeling and animation using Maya
- Web authoring and web/interactive development
- Digital game design and development
- Expertise in various software such as Director, Illustrator, Photoshop, Maya, Final Cut Pro, Flash, InDesign, After Effects, and others
Candidates should have at minimum a BA or BFA in visual communications/graphic design or within a closely related subject area. At least 4 years of professional experience is also a requirement.
