The Census Bureau in 2004 calculated that the average college graduate earns $27,800 more per year, than the average high school graduate, which adds up to more than $1 million over a lifetime. With that being said, education is proven to be essential for the working world. Since our founding in 1990, the mission of Mt. Sierra College has been to prepare students for successful careers in the fields of business, media arts and design and technology. We believe in teaching our students skills that employers demand.
Mt. Sierra prides itself on providing its students hands-on learning, allowing them to deepen their level of understanding; small class sizes, giving students the opportunity to get to know their instructors while receiving individual academic attention; online education, making it possible for students to attend school anytime, anywhere; and FlexLearn, the learning system that allows students the flexibility to take courses on campus and online, presenting options that make it easier to juggle education, work and everyday life.
In addition, our Career Development department is available to assist individuals with resume’ building, interview skills, and job placement. This is a service that is invaluable for individuals entering the job market in their field of study.
Our students and faculty are committed to building a community for both our online and on campus programs. Pursuing an education is one of the most important decisions one can make in their lives, therefore, the staff and faculty at Mt. Sierra are here to assist you in implementing your educational decision. We are looking forward to the future and continuous growth of the Mt. Sierra community in the areas of your educational rising and the futures or our alumni.
Sincerely,
Vaughn Hartunian
