Requirements
- Submission of official proof of high school graduation.
- Completion of Student Assessment Essay admissions process before beginning their program of study.
- Submission of high school and/or college transcripts.
The College admits academically-qualified students without regard to sex, age, race, national origin, or handicap. Furthermore, the College provides all students with equal rights, privileges, programs and opportunities as provided for by law.
Home-schooled applicants must meet the admissions requirements detailed above. In lieu of high school transcripts, an official high school equivalency exam score may be submitted. If available, a transcript of the home-schooled applicant's progress should be submitted.
Transfer Credits
Students with prior college work should order an official transcript from each college attended. The transcripts should be sent directly to the Office of the Registrar for evaluation. Credit will be granted for any course considered to be equivalent in course content and equal in credit hours to a required course in the student's degree program. New students should ensure that their transcripts arrive at the College at least one week prior to registration. This will allow sufficient time for the evaluation so students may avoid registering for a course for which they will receive credit. Students should be prepared to provide a course catalog from the college of record if needed. The catalog will be retained by Mt. Sierra College to substantiate the transcript evaluation.
A detailed evaluation by a recognized credentials evaluation service is required for all documents submitted from foreign institutions.
