Degree-seeking students enrolled in eligible programs
may apply for financial aid as a means of financing
their education. Mt. Sierra College maintains a full-time
Financial Aid staff to ensure that every qualified applicant
is able to achieve the education of his or her dreams.
There are three types of Financial Aid available: grants,
loans, and work-study. Grants are financial aid which
does not have to be repaid (free money). Loans are borrowed
money that must be repaid with interest. Work-Study allows
the student to work and earn money to help pay for school.
Mt. Sierra College has been approved for participation
in the following Title IV Student Aid Programs administered
by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Federal PELL Grants
- Federal Stafford Loans
- Federal PLUS Loans
- Federal Supplement Educational Opportunity Grants
(SEOG)
- Federal Work-Study (FWS)
